MessageLock for Outlook 2003 Delivers Sender-to-Receiver Protection of Email Messages and Reduces Size of File Attachments (April 5, 2006. MessageLock securely stores the password for future use. The email message is encrypted on the sender’s PC, and decryption occurs on the receiver’s PC. This means that the message is secured the moment it leaves the sender’s PC, until it is decrypted on the receiver’s PC. Although maximum convenience occurs when both sender and receiver are using MessageLock, its encrypted files are widely accessible. Encrypted email file attachments can be opened up by any receiver who knows the password and who has a zip file utility installed on their computer.
