How to Save Your Outlook Email Addresses to CSV/Excel Format

Some of the most important personal data we have is contained within Microsoft Outlook's PST files. Its a shame that Outlook's ability to export files is so limited. If you need to collect the important email addresses stored in your Outlook email inbox, or your pst file, here are a couple of ways you can do that.

Method 1

PST Viewer Pro is a .pst file viewer software application for Microsoft Windows. You can use PST Viewer Pro to read in your Outlook emails and then save them to a comma separated values .csv file. You can then import the file into Excel or Open Office, where you can manipulate the eliminate the fields you don't want, and sort the email addresses. PstViewer does not require the presence of Outlook.

Method 2

MessageExport is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2013/2016/2019/365 that will save your selected emails to many different formats, including .csv comma separated values that can be imported into Excel.
